More than four dozen people joined Inland Empire for Israel on Sunday Oct. 4 to remember the Hamas terror attacks of Oct. 7, 2023. IEI partnered with the Israeli group ESEK (Hebrew for business) to learn how survivors of the Nova music festival are using art to help them heal from the trauma of that day. Attendees saw short video clips of Israeli artists speaking about their experiences during the terror attacks. Their art was for sale at the event along with products from a

Thank you to everyone who joined us and StandWithUs Northwest for their presentation and discussion on what is happening in our schools related to antisemitism and Israel. StandWithUs talked about the variety of ways antisemitism has shown-up in K-12 schools in Washington and how StandWithUs responded to each incident or issue. Sometimes it was necessary to use the legal system and lawyers involved and sometimes just meeting with administrators face to face and working tog

By Mike Barenti Dave Nielsen, one of Inland Empire for Israel’s founding members, passed away from a heart attack near his home in Newman Lake in early February. In 2012, a local left-wing anti-Israel hate group was demonstrating against Israeli efforts to defend against Hamas terror attacks from Gaza and for whatever reason I decided somebody needed to counter their lies. David Calechman Inland Empire for Israel, Co-Founder “It happened again,” my mother texted in early January. The “it” was the Jan. 10 arson attack on a Synagogue in Jackson, Miss. Despite systematic discrimination and regular violence by the new Arab rulers, these Jews built vibrant lives. Now, their communities are for the most part only memories and they and their descendants live in Israel, making up the majority of the country’s population. At Inland Empire for Israel

They have suffered under autocratic Islamic rule since 1979. Regular Iranian people have been protesting widely since late December. Young women are risking their lives, burning their hijabs and pictures of the "supreme" leader publicly, and are being killed for it. The Iranian government has shut down the internet and power

On 26 December 2025, Israel became the first country and United Nations member state to officially recognise Somaliland as an independent sovereign state. Israel’s decision was condemned throughout the world by European and Arab countries. Why? This is an excellent explanation of Israel's recognition of Somaliland and why every Western country should follow suit. https://youtu.be/bHRKHGQDGOY?si=Bj_zy8VDxnxuko4s
