October 7th Commemoration - Healing Through Art

More than four dozen people joined Inland Empire for Israel on Sunday Oct. 4 to remember the Hamas terror attacks of Oct. 7, 2023. IEI partnered with the Israeli group ESEK (Hebrew for business) to learn how survivors of the Nova music festival are using art to help them heal from the trauma of that day. Attendees saw short video clips of Israeli artists speaking about their experiences during the terror attacks. Their art was for sale at the event along with products from a variety of Israeli small businesses.

If you missed the event, don’t worry. You can still support Israeli artists and small businesses by visiting ESEK on the internet and making a purchase. ESEK just released a video about the artists that you can view online at https://esek.biz/pages/nova?se_activity_id=136188428497&syclid=db2nc9dd5t0s73cob300&utm_campaign=still_dancing_launch_oct2026&utm_content=trailer&utm_medium=email&utm_source=shopify_email#en-film-trailer
