Finally It Is Gone...But

We learned yesterday, July 15th, that the truly offensive graffiti was finally removed from in front of Spokane City Hall.

We don't know whether our write-in and call in campaign was a factor. We are just glad it is gone. For now. We thank all of you who contacted the Mayor and City Council.

What happens next time? Does the Spokane City Council know the difference between Free Speech and Threats of Violence? Will we have to remind them again to do the right thing?

It looks like we will. Word out of Spokane City Hall is that their attorneys do not consider " Death to XXX" as hate speech. Disgusting.
